I'm not giving names - it's their story to tell and their choice to share, but TWO more are FREE!!! I have been friends with "Mary" and she has left the grasps of this brainwashing establishment. Well, "Joseph" has now left too. PRAISE GOD is all I can say!
You are not alone! Leaving WILL NOT send you to hell! Jesus came to fulfill the law. God is a God of LOVE not fear! You don't have to stay there because of fear. They convince you leaving means you'll die and go to hell. THIS IS A MIND CONTROL GAME USING FEAR. Don't let them manipulate you and rob you of your life. You can leave and you can have a loving relationship with God and with others.

That's really good news, Kat. Hopefully they won't be smeared too bad by the borg. Smearing good people who leave is a tactic that the ntcc uses so that others will not follow them out. The only problem is that people are brainwashed so bad that they will believe the lies that are made up about the folks who leave more than they believe the lives of the folks who have found their freedom.
Hopefully if you have contact with these people you can reassure them that their salvation doesn't hinge on a program of works, but they do a lot more for God by loving their neighbor and reaching out in love to others. The Gospel of Christ and ministering to souls is much more meaningful in deeds than it is in words.

Kat says: Yes, I do have contact with them. I see them off and on. I am very happy to say that "Mary" is strong and clear minded. She knew this isn't right for some time now and his been telling "Joseph". He was ok with her moving on but he was apprehensive about leaving due to the brainwashing. Her standing strong and firm and co-supportive of him has helped him. So we need prayer for "Joseph" as he adapts. She is well and healthy minded and I know that God will use her to continue to help him heal.
I was very proud of her when she told me SHE personally called some of her so-called cult 'friends' when she finally decided to NEVER return to the pits of the cult hell. She told them she left and was going to a new church and was still serving God. Of course, she knew they would unfriend her as they did. I was just so impressed that she stood in the face of the lies and told them who she is and where she stands.
Take that satan. Take that borg! She's an amazing person who knows the true love of God! "Joseph" does too and now they are no longer your minions!!!
We are happy for them and glad that they were not afraid to take a stand. We will be praying for them.
Kat you are amazing woman to care so much about people.
Just know remember God sees all you do for Him as you serve Him by helping others. Every little thing is important to God.
May more continue to be free from hardships of following man instead of God.

Thank you, Julie. Yes, after all I've been thru (and you, and many of us) on top of the rest of my past, I just want to do nothing but help others and be there for them. Then on the way I get to make great friends with people such as you! =)

Just an update - they are doing AMAZING! They are in a good church and really love the Lord. God is blessing them and all is well!
