Healing. . . . mentally, spiritually AND physically . . . .

For those of you that knew me, you knew I am no small person. You have likely seen me "Grow" literally thru the ntcc years. I wouldn't say I was a huge eater often but I was a wrong eater - eating the wrong things because it was cheap and I didn't have money (something you never hear in ntcc right??!! Yeah wrong!). I ate at all the wrong times because we didn't have time to be normal. I already have the DNA of fat folk and I'm Italian - hello!

Now that I am gone and free, I am spiritually, and mentally better and God has given me strength to become physically better as well. To date, I'm currently down 85 lbs (in the past 4 1/2 months) and my son is down over 65 for over 150# comine weight loss!

Here's my progress (so far):

You and Josh are doing awesome. It's amazing what a person can do when they are "allowed" to manage their own lives. In the ntcc there was absolutely no control when it came to eating. Eating seemed more important than just about anything we did and it didn't matter how broke everybody was, we were never going to cut corners when it came to stuffing our faces.

Davis once asked me if I was on the "Fat Boy" program when I was in the Army. I was always a skinny kid and had no reason to be fat with all the exercise we got in the Army, but when you eat 8,000 calorie meals every night for 13 years; it's hard for anyone's metabolism to keep up with that.

Freedom is a wonderful thing. When you can pursue your own goals with out someone second guessing your motives you can accomplish amazing things in your life. I remember they would put a guilt trip on you if you did anything to better yourself. Any type of college or army training that took you away from their program for a short time was frowned upon. Special Forces, Ranger School, Officer Candidate School, college courses could not interfere with your schedule or you would be accused of loving the Army or your own career more than God.

Keep up the good work! There are many in the ntcc that do not have the energy to do what you are doing and they have resigned themselves to be failures because that is what they are programmed to be. Shine on Sister!!!

I don't think you know me... But I wanted to comment and say you are doing great and encourage you to keep up the good work.

I haven't commented on the blogs in a long time, but life is good.

Hey Bro. Bellamy, it's good to hear from you. Hope you and your wife are enjoying being parents. With the approaching holiday season, I've been thinking about the joy that parents have sharing this time of year with their children, and seeing the wonder on their faces. It saddens me to think how many in the organization were needlessly deprived of these simple joys of life. Pray for those that don't have someone to share their holidays with and hope that others will join in that prayer. And also look for an opportunity to be a good neighbor. It's what God would want, especially as we celebrate the Savior's birth.

Hello Bro. Bellamy,

I do remember you by name but can't say I recall too much about you and the wife. Thank you for the kind words. I am keeping it up. My calling if I may is to be a beacon of hope for anyone hurting and I believe God has given me many tools and vessels to be so.

As for the weight loss, it is going well and will continue to. I'm down 90 and my son over 70. We are so excited to have healing and healthy healing in our lives. As I lose weight, as I continue to heal, it is truly on my heart to write a book and maybe even be a Christian motivational speaker one day.

Oddly enough I have Mary Kay in my life as a platform and tool. It is giving me encouragment and training to be in front of people and it's giving me the ability to meet women who are hurting and share the gospel.

Don N Ange, prayers and hugs going up for all who don't have family and children. While I do have 3 boys, that is all I have. I don't have family beyond that. I don't have a mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. It is lonely but the best part is the family grows with friends such as you all!

May you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving Day! <3

It is disingenuous to blame the church, then have weight loss surgery when you left!!!

Yeah um no weight loss surgery! Doing it on my own, and so is my son. Believe me I work at a place where we deal with people who have the surgery - I thank God I never did.

If you dare to not believe me, bring your name forward and come visit everyone one of my doctors with me - see all of my charts (they won't let you without me there - HIPA) and I will show you I'm geniune and honest.

In fact, I was talking to another lady who is fed up with NTCC (no weight issue at all) that said she saw another lady who left the seattle branch of this cult and she too had lost a lot of weight.

The women are depressed in this cult. There is nothing to do but be at home and believe in the nothingness they convince you that you are - even on hot dog budgets, it's easy to gain weight. Eating too much is just as bad as eating not enough. Depression is caused by the beat downs of this cult. That is the truth of what cause many of the weight issues in that cult.

Leaving is the cure. Weight loss comes with that cure!

Any more ignorant accusations, I'd be very happy to prove factually to you. Oh and calling this a church is incorrect - this is a cult. Have you seen breaking faith tv show? It's not got the polygamy but it's almost the same short of that. Believe me - if they could figure a way out to make the whole polygamy thing work, I'm convinced they would!!!

Have a nice day.

oh and you can ask my boss without the HIPA laws who will tell you she hates that I'm doing this WITHOUT a surgery. She doesn't believe in losing weight without surgery but I do. So I have proof galore. Any more questions or actually ASSumptions? I'm happy to answer!

Great going, Kat, one can do a lot with encouragement and not by "shaming" which many of us have experienced! We are all in your corner... have a blessed Christmas.. you and all yours!

Kat said, "its not got the polygamy, but it's almost the same short of that."

DNA said, "the NTCC might not marry em all at the same time but they have the same amount of brides or grooms when it's all said and done. The marriage, divorce, re marriage and subsequent adultery in the NTCC is staggering.

If you're feeling the hate, you're having an impact. When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that squeals loudest is the one that got hit. The NTCC squealers have a long history of self justification and they don't have the backbone to own their false accusations. They have to tell lies anonymously so that when they are called out, they don't have to take responsibility for their pretentious remarks. Rather than complement you for your amazing accomplishment, they want to talk down to you like they do to all of the ntcc women that feel hopeless because the have struggled unsuccessfuly to lose weight for years. I've heard dumpy dunlap disease Davis used to ridicule women all the time for being fat. What a fat hypocrite he is.

Photon - thank you!

Don and Ange - thank you as well! Yes, I agree they have to use lies because that is all they have. But that was one of the most funny things I ever heard! I am thinking it MUST be someone who knows me because I do work at a place where we specialize in post-op care for those that have WLS. But it isn't anyone who truly knows me because everyone who truly knows me knows I thank God daily I never had weight loss surgery! But this isn't the place to go on and on about that. I almost want to start a support group for those considering to encourage them NOT to do it. Only in few cases would I agree it should be done. People don't know the real truth about it and doctors dont care - its just money for them.

Ok of that box . . . . Yes DnA Dunlap Diseased Davis would put all the women down while he was a chunkmeister hisself. He'd go on a diet for a little bit, lose some pudge and then put it all back on. I remember those having holy diets (same diet as the chunkmeister would) and they'd talk about how the man of gawd was so wise and they were glad they were doing his diet and they felt so good. OK whatever. They too were yo-yo's just like chunkenstein.

I'm wrapping my brain around another post I want to put together. I sait with my friend the other night and we were just going over so many little things (we all know them) but she's in her healing stages now. I'm so glad for her! Her husband is almost there too . . . . can't wait! So just pray God gives me wisdom - so many of these are so lost and so hurting and they are stuck in the holy commode, sitting, waiting with baited breath just to touch the holy hem of the holy garment or kiss the holy ring of the gawwwwd tootin chunkenheim and his wife.

TYPOS . . . . uggh - sorry - first WLS = weight loss surgery. Of that box should've been off of that box. Sait s/b sat! Etc - typed fast, didn't proof. . . . silly me.

Yes Davis was such a hypocrite when it came to weight......my mother was the seamstress for all the leaders ......she was forever having to alter Davis' clothes because of weight changes yet he put down those who couldnt keep their weight undercontrol.

Hugs
